Grown ups can be boring but we do play games as well sometimes.
The USS Southern Cross is a Star Trek fan club – that means we like the TV series and movies of Star Trek so much that we have created our own pretend starship – The USS Southern Cross! We even have ranks, right from the Commanding Officer, who is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Starfleet Marines, down to the cadets – that’s you!
Although our "home port" is Australasia, Australia, New Zealand, as far north as Indonesia and all the South Pacific Islands, the USS Southern Cross is part of Starfleet International, the largest fan club in the world. Because we are part of Starfleet International though, we have sister ships all over the world! We have friends on other ships in Canada, Europe, England and all over the United States. Come with us as, with the magic of Science Fiction, we explore the far reaches of the universe from the smallest molecule to the farthest Galaxy.
Right now you are in the Cadets Mess of the USS Southern Cross! It’s a section of the ship’s website that is especially for you kids, where we are going to have heaps of fun and things for you to do and make and play!
