Welcome to the online homeofthe USS Southern Cross(The Flagship of Region Eleven)We are an internet correspondence chapter of STARFLEET: the International Star Trek Fan Association representing Region 11 (Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia). Our Akira Class Battle cruiser – the USS Southern Cross (NCC 63550) is home to a truly international crew – primarily representing Australia and New Zealand. Our members enjoy all varieties of sci fi from a broad range of genres and we welcome input from any interested persons who may wish to join our group. As a correspondence chapter, all activity is conducted online without the restrictions perhaps of having to attend regular meetings that distance, or difficulty of travel may otherwise affect. The intention of our club is to offer a wide-ranging series of online activities that may include fiction journalism, internet workshops, regular internet chat, indulgence in sci fi and fantasy fandom – and perhaps even a bit if of fun!!!
